The Stanlake Park Wine Tour
Please note: Wine Tours run as usual in Tier 2, but are cancelled in Tiers 3 or 4. Please refer to our page Coronavirus Update for more information.
Our wine tours are designed to be friendly, informal and fun! No prior knowledge is required as our experienced guide will lead you through the ups and downs of English wine-making, accompanied by some generous samples of our very best award-winning wines.
You'll visit one of our vineyards (weather permitting) before being taken through the winery to see the wine-making process. You'll see the grape-pressing area, the fermentation tanks, the barrel room, the 'fizz' room and the bottling line.
If you choose our Wine & Cheese Tours, you will also sample a selection of English cheese together with crackers and chutneys.
In both cases, the tour will end in our Wine & Gift Shop where you'll have an opportunity to buy any of our wines by the glass, bottle or case. We stock also a large selection of wine accessories and gifts, together with other local products like honey, beer, cider and more.
You're welcome to stay after the tour in our Wine Bar to enjoy a glass of wine, beer or cider with a selection of snacks, or enjoy a real Italian coffee, a tea or a soft drink.
If the weather is good you can stay in our lovely garden! Otherwise, you're welcome to sit inside the shop in one of our tables or refurnished oak barrels.
Our tours last for approximately 2 hours - you may wish to book a taxi home!
If you're organising a lift or booking a cab, we would recommend you ask them to give yourself enough time, just so you're not rushed at the end of the tour.
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for further details. No under 18 please, including babies and toddlers.
Cheese & Wine ToursOn 2020 we've also launched our new Wine & Cheese Tours, where you will also be offered a selection of English cheese, crackers and chutneys to enjoy with your tasting.
